Texas Governor Announces Special Election
The governor of Texas announced that the special election to replace the vacant seat in TX CD 18 will be held in November, so mark the following date in your calendar and remember to vote!

It’s always important to make your voice heard, but it’s particularly poignant this year because the 18th district of Texas will end up having no representation in the House of Representatives for about 9 months in total. The seat has been vacant since early March. U.S. Representative Turner passed away a few hours after he took a constituent from our district to the State of the Union address to protest cuts to Medicaid.
