Our nation needs public servants who unite, not divide. Build, not destroy. But the current administration is cutting food assistance for hungry families, gutting education, and killing health research that would benefit us and future generations. They promised affordable housing and a lower cost of living, but instead we’re seeing tariffs raise prices, healthcare stripped away, and our leaders enriching themselves at our expense. “Black” and “women” are now censored words, due process is being ignored, and everyday Americans have to pay for a massive deficit. These attacks hurt our district, and I will take a stand to defend and restore sound policies which improve our lives. We need pragmatic leaders who reach across the aisle to develop strategic solutions that increase the quality of life and liberty for all Americans. I have 20 years of experience collaborating on a wide variety of technology solutions to solve problems in energy, finance and healthcare. While career politicians waste time trading insults, I’ll focus on what matters: smart policy, practical work, and real results for real people. We the people must not allow our government to threaten the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution. Our democratic rights must be protected, and I will fight for you.

Meet Stephen

Stephen Huey is passionate about people. His career has taken him to a wide variety of companies, but he always knew that the problems he was solving with technology were for people. He and his wife Stephanie are alumni of Houston’s Rice University, and they’ve been raising their four children in the 18th district. From an early age, Stephen has appreciated the diversity found here in Texas, and he also cherishes the cultural experiences he enjoyed during his childhood years in West Africa.

Priorities

This is not how the 21st century should be going for the land of the free and the home of the brave. The USA needs a better vision for our future, and a sensible plan to get there. Stephen will work to find allies on both sides of the aisle to make it happen. Some of the most vulnerable in our nation are in the crosshairs right now, and Stephen will fight to defend their rights. Never before in history have we seen an American president so openly spending his time and taxpayer money on a quest for personal retribution. We need integrity and good sense in Washington.
